The Flood Warning issued by the Dominica Meteorological Service this morning up to 12 noon has been extended to 6pm for today Saturday 21st December 2024.

Persistent rainfall and high-ground saturation have significantly increased the risk of flash flooding and landslides
especially along low-lying areas near rivers and streams, areas with recent construction, and roadways in landslide-prone areas situated beneath steep slopes and cliffs.
Avoid driving through or walking across flooded areas.
Stay Informed: Keep monitoring updates from trusted sources.
Where possible stay indoors in a safe location. If you must travel, exercise extreme caution and be aware of falling rocks and debris.
Follow evacuation orders promptly if issued.
Prepare Your Home:

- Unplug electrical appliances to avoid power surges.
